Editorial Illustration

 

A collection of illustrations featuring some of my favorite hobbies. This stylized composition and the use of a traditional technique with colored pencils helps tell the story of the manuality involved in each of these hobbies.

 

I love illustrating, but it's not my only passion. I like to keep myself entertained by many other things and have this habit of jumping from one hobby to the other, making it impossible to master any of my other interests.

 

I am also very influenced by my family and friends' own side-loves, admiring each of their crafts and grabbing some of their passions into mine.

This series was a fun way to explore the same style and composition in different contexts, as if it were an illustration for a book or a magazine.

 

The 5 illustrations on this page are part of the first batch of drawings. Hopefully I'll be able to design some others in the near future.
